Competitive sport
The SSZ is an Olympic base as well as a federal and state performance center for sport shooting.
Olympic, national and regional squads have been training here for decades.
In order to make this possible, the SSZ needs an infrastructure that allows it to cover all the necessary concerns.
Therefore the SSZ has - in addition to the shooting ranges - a sauna, a fitness room, a gym, rooms for physiologists, training rooms, a supply and overnight area as well as changing rooms including showers.
All facilities on our campus are within walking distance.
Starting from a simple overnight stay, up to the “all-round carefree” package - including all inclusive service, use of the sauna, fitness room, armory and of course the shooting ranges - the stay can be individually designed.
These excellent conditions have been used intensively for many years by various national and foreign national teams to carry out training courses lasting several days.
Basic / Popular sport
In addition to competitive sports, the SSZ also offers the opportunity to train in popular sports.
All ranges can be booked by individual shooters or up to whole clubs. It is possible to book the ranges once or over a longer period - for example for regular training sessions.
Trainers are available for anyone who wants to improve their shooting skills.
Your personal needs are addressed in individually designed trainer lessons.
Depending on your previous knowledge, you will receive - in addition to imparting basic knowledge - individual instruction in shooting techniques.
You determine the duration and the intensity. You set the pace and the content so that the best possible learning success is achieved for you personally.
Hunters and those interested in hunting
Even if sport shooting is at the forefront in the SSZ, it offers many opportunities for hunters and those interested in hunting.
In the SSZ you can do the shooting required for the hunting license, provide all required shooting certificates or develop and improve your skills.
No matter whether handgun, long gun, running target or shotgun, the SSZ has all necessary ranges.
All ranges can be booked by individual hunters and hunting groups through to hunting schools.
It is possible to book the ranges once or over a longer period - for example for regular training sessions.
For anyone who needs proof of shooting, shooting supervisors are available to help you.
If you need support in preparing your shooting test for a hunting license or if you want to improve your shooting skills, you can book coaching lessons. Your personal needs will be addressed in individually designed hours.

Shooting for everyone
The SSZ not only offers the opportunity to shoot for active sport shooters or hunters.
All stands are available to those interested so that everyone can try their hand at different disciplines.
Regardless of whether you want to try your hand at the air rifle or whether you want to shoot a running target with a hunting rifle, everything is possible, from individuals to corporate events with over 100 participants.
After making an appointment in advance, you will be provided with a shooting director who will instruct you in the discipline and supervise the entire shooting process.
