Located on the outskirts of the traditional arms town of Suhl, embedded in the green of the Thuringian Forest and yet only a few minutes away from the highways 71/73, our shooting sports center Suhl is an Olympic, International and National professional sports center. The 27 hectare sports facility offers numerous training stands for all Olympic and several non-Olympic shooting disciplines. We look back on 50 years of successful shooting sports as the host of World and European Championships, World Cups and countless national competitions. At our cosmopolitan sports facility, international and national cadre shooters train alongside club shooters and hunters. We also regularly welcome commercial gunsmiths and hunting schools to our facility, as well as corporate events for well-known companies. Schießsportzentrum Suhl (SSZ) GmbH has been managing the training and competition facility since autumn 2016, which has been renowned in top international sport since 1971.
