The Suhl Shooting Sports Centre offers several opportunities for shooting the 10m distances with air guns.
Depending on the size of the training group or the number of competitors, the Erich Krempel Hall or the Air Rifle Hall can be used.
For finals, the final stand is available.
10m facility Erich Krempel Hall
The Erich Krempel Hall is equipped with 50 modern electronic SIUS systems.
Control monitors at each shooting stand provide a direct result display for the sportsman.
In the evaluation area, which is located between the spectator area and the shooters' line, there are several display monitors showing the results of 10 lanes each.
In addition to displaying the results at competitions, this enables several shooters to be observed and supervised at the same time during training.
The DSB and TSB book the facility for training camps and for major national and international competitions, among other things. Examples include the ISSF Junior World Cup, DSB rankings and the Thuringian State Championships.
The air rifle hall
The air gun hall is located on the upper floor of the main building.
It offers various possibilities for smaller training groups in the field of competitive sports, for trial trainings as well as for beginners' and basic training.
Due to the combination of traditional cable systems based on paper targets and also modern electronic SIUS equipment, the best conditions for optimal training in the disciplines of air rifle and air pistol are given here.
By this equipment it's possible to switch between paper and electronic targets during a training session without having to make any changes or extensive setup.
In the air gun hall 18 stations with cable system and 11 stations of electronic SIUS systems and one electronical 10m running target system are installed.
The running target system can be used alone, because of an electronical release system.
The air gun hall is used on a daily basis by the state- and national cadres, by clubs in the vicinity for regular training and for recruiting juniors, for guest programs and as competition sites for the South Thuringian ranking list.
The final stand
The finals stand is available for the organisation of finals. The final stand is equipped with fully electronic SIUS systems and thus meets the current requirements of the ISSF.
There are monitors at each shooting stand so that athletes can see their current results. In the spectator area, large monitors ensure that spectators can follow the results live and cheer along.
