Currently because of COVID-19, the SSZ has restricted opportunities for use.

Based on the organization as national and state training center the SSZ is available nearly all year round.
The general opening hours(*) are Monday to Saturday from 9.00 a.m. to 12 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Different opening hours (*) are valid for the shotgun ranges.
These are open only from Tuesday to Saturday.
On Sundays and public holidays the facilities are closed.
Because of daily cadre training, base training, courses in the context of preparation for competitions or competitions there can be limitations all year round.
For this reason, it is recommendable to inquire in advance – in the best case – make a booking.
