The shooting sports center Suhl is the Olympic, federal and state base for sports shooting in the state of Thuringia.
Since October 2016 in the administration of Schie\u00dfsportzentrum Suhl (SSZ) GmbH, the shooting sports center offers all possibilities to meet these high standards.
The SSZ represents the ideal connection between competitive, popular and recreational sports and combines training and competition facilities for all Olympic and many non-Olympic shooting disciplines.
A sports hall, a sauna area and a weight room complete the sporting offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to be able to accommodate active people, organizers and officials, a sports pension is available directly connected to the main building.
With this combination - ideal training conditions, sauna, weight room and guesthouse including full service - the execution of training camps for national and international athletes and high-level competitions is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to competitive athletes, hobby shooters will also find ideal training conditions.
Those who call hunting their passion can practice their skills in the shooting sports center and have the required proof of shooting confirmed.
The SSZ also has exciting offers for interested parties who are not active shooters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the equipment required for competitive sports, the SSZ has several consulting and guest rooms. This enables the SSZ to be used for training courses or conferences as well as for events - business or private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sports pension is not only reserved for the active, every visitor or interested party can comfortably spend the night in the facility.
